Mr David Davis provides an expert medico-legal practice in the UK. Please direct all enquries to medicolegal@djdsurgery.co.uk.
He regularly attend Expert witness meetings and conferences. He will provide timely and efficient written reports for personal injury and medical negligence cases, and when necessary will make court appearances for claimants and defendants. He has a good understanding of legal principles and civil procedures rules, and will provide a non-biased, holistic and logical approach, based on current medical evidence-based literature. TEACHING, RESEARCH & PUBLICATIONS
Mr Davies regularly delivers teaching sessions to General Practitioners, and other Health Care Professionals on common neurological conditions and treatments. He has run various courses in brain surgery, has presented at various conferences, both at local, national and international level, and is a clinical Lecturer in neurosurgery at the University of Birmingham.
Over the course of his career, Mr Davies has been awarded multiple prizes for his work and research and has published circa 100 papers.
Current Clinical and Medico-legal Activity
Mr Davies has worked in Neurosurgery for 17 years, specialising in head injury, trauma, concussion and cranial reconstruction and aesthetics along with tumours of the brain and disorders of CSF circulation. He is also a leading expert in the management of concussion/ sports and occupation concussions and is a member of the recently formed national MDT panel on concussion.
He has lots of experience in reviewing the clinical practice of fellow neurosurgeons, consisting of report writing and engaging with solicitors working on various cases over the years.
